Feeling gassy, bloated, or uneasy after every meal during pregnancy? You’re definitely not alone!

Bloating and gastritis are very common pregnancy symptoms. Your body is doing an incredible job nurturing your baby, but those hormonal changes can slow down digestion. Plus, as your uterus grows, it puts gentle pressure on your stomach — which can make you feel full, bloated, or even a little uncomfortable after eating.

But don’t worry, mama! Here are some tried-and-tested tips to soothe your tummy and keep digestion on track 👇

🥗 1. Eat small, frequent meals.Instead of three large meals, go for five to six smaller ones throughout the day. This keeps your digestion steady and prevents that heavy, bloated feeling.

🌶️ 2. Avoid spicy, oily, or fried foods. They may tempt your taste buds but can worsen acidity and bloating. Stick to lighter, home-cooked meals whenever possible.

💧 3. Stay well hydrated.Drink plenty of water — but sip slowly instead of gulping. Staying hydrated helps your digestive system run smoothly.

4. Finish dinner before 8 PM.Late-night meals are a big no-no! Give your body at least two hours to digest food before bedtime.

🍵 5. Sip on warm water or ginger tea. These natural remedies can ease discomfort, reduce gas, and support digestion.

🚶‍♀️ 6. Stay upright or take a short walk after meals.Avoid lying down immediately. A 15–20 minute walk can do wonders for digestion and also help regulate your blood sugar.

🌿 7. Try gentle home remedies.Jeera (cumin) water or ajwain (carom seed) water are excellent natural aids for bloating and acidity relief.

💊 8. Talk to your doctor if symptoms persist. Some safe medications can be prescribed during pregnancy if lifestyle changes alone don’t help.

Remember: A happy gut means a healthier pregnancy! Take small steps daily and show your tummy a little love 💕
