Pregnancy is a beautiful journey — full of excitement, anticipation, and change. But it’s also important to know that certain warning signs, especially in the second or third trimester, could indicate something serious and need immediate medical attention.

Here’s what every mom-to-be should look out for 👇

⚠️ Red Flags During Late Pregnancy

❤️ 1. Severe abdominal pain or tightening If the pain doesn’t go away or feels intense and rhythmic, it could signal early labor or another complication.

💧 2. Bleeding or sudden gush of fluid Any vaginal bleeding or leakage of water before your due date is an emergency. Rush to your hospital immediately.

🤕 3. Severe headache or blurred vision These could be early signs of high blood pressure or preeclampsia, both of which need urgent care.

💫 4. Swelling of hands, feet, or face Mild swelling is normal, but sudden or excessive swelling could indicate fluid retention linked to high BP.

👶 5. Reduced or absent baby movements If your baby’s movements decrease noticeably, don’t wait — contact your doctor right away.

🌡️ 6. High fever, chills, or infection signs Persistent fever or flu-like symptoms should never be ignored.

💨 7. Chest pain or shortness of breath Sudden breathlessness or chest discomfort could point to a heart or lung issue.

💩 8. Painful urination or repeated loose stools These may signal infection or dehydration, both risky in pregnancy.

Quick Action Saves Lives! If you notice any of these symptoms, rush to the hospital immediately.Trust your instincts — it’s always better to get checked than to risk your health or your baby’s safety.

💖 Stay alert, stay strong, and take care of yourself and your little one.
