Pregnant and sleepless? Welcome to the club!

Insomnia or sleeplessness is very common during pregnancy. Blame it on those unpredictable hormonal shifts, a growing belly, heartburn, leg cramps, body aches, frequent trips to the bathroom, stress, anxiety, an active little one doing flips — and yes, those vivid dreams that feel too real!

But don’t worry, mama-to-be — here’s what can truly help you drift into dreamland again:

🛁 1. Create a relaxing bedtime ritual.Try a warm bath, gentle stretches, meditation, or deep breathing exercises before bed. Your body and mind need that calming cue.

📱 2. Unplug early.Put away your screens at least an hour before bedtime. Blue light is a sneaky sleep stealer!

🛏️ 3. Sleep smart.Lie on your left side with extra pillows for belly and leg support — it improves blood flow and keeps you comfy.

4. Skip caffeine late in the day.Your baby might be tiny, but your caffeine sensitivity isn’t! Avoid tea, coffee, and cola post-afternoon.

💧 5. Cut down on evening fluids.Fewer late-night bathroom trips = better rest.

🚶‍♀️ 6. Stay active.A bit of walking or light prenatal yoga during the day helps your body feel ready to rest at night.

🎵 7. Soothing sounds or a book before bed.Calm music or light reading can relax your mind and invite sleep naturally.

Remember, sleep might feel like a distant dream during pregnancy, but with these steps, sweet dreams aren’t far away.
